Established in 1997, the Architects Registration Board is the independent statutory regulator of architects in the UK.
Working closely with team colleagues, the role includes processing applications for prescription (recognition) from institutions/schools of architecture, including drafting advisory notes, seeking clarifications from schools and providing recommendations to the Board. It also involves drafting reports and papers relating to the delivery and development of the prescription process.
The post holder will participate in every aspect of the prescription process as well as other areas of the team’s work, which include the university liaison programme and the European notifications process.
You will be an excellent communicator and be able to confidently present to peers and senior management alike, draft high-quality reports and committee/board papers, with highly developed administrative and organisational skills. You will be a team player, with an ability to work on your own initiative and deliver work to deadlines.
