Established in 1997, the Architects Registration Board is the independent statutory regulator of architects in the UK. This vacancy is in ARB’s small but busy Qualifications Team which deals with the recognition of qualifications.
Working closely with team colleagues, the role includes liaising with UK schools and institutions of architecture to provide students with comprehensive seminars, giving them an understanding of the purpose of ARB and what it means to be a registered Architect. It also involves participating in every aspect of ARB’s Prescription (recognition) process. With experience of higher education, you will be an excellent communicator and be able to confidently present to students and peers alike, draft high quality reports, with highly developed administrative and organisational skills. A creative thinker, with the ability to generate new ideas and approaches. You will be a team player, with an ability to work on your own initiative and deliver work to deadlines. The role will involve travelling and overnight stays within the UK.
