The Architects’ Registration Board confirmed at its Board meeting yesterday that its annual retention fee would increase by £2.00 in 2015.
Speaking after the Board meeting, Beatrice Fraenkel, ARB Chair, said:
‘We unanimously decided at yesterday’s Board meeting to increase the annual retention fee for 2015 by £2.00, bringing the annual fee to £107. The increase represents a 1.9% rise, which is below the current RPI of 2.5%.
The decision was made in conjunction with our 2015 Business Plan, which includes a review of the routes to registration available to join the Register, preparation for a review of our disciplinary processes and our ongoing commitment to invest in the use of technology to support the delivery of our statutory functions in the most cost effective way.
As part of our commitment to the use of technology, we were able to agree a reduction in the cost of re-joining the Register by a further £10. As a Board and staff team we remain dedicated to delivering efficiencies which assist in off-setting areas where costs have increased.’
Fees for 2015
