ARB is pleased to announced the results of its election of Board leadership posts. Both Beatrice Fraenkel and Richard Parnaby have been returned unopposed to the positions of Board Chair and Vice Chair respectively.
It will be Beatrice Fraenkel’s seventh year as Chair of the ARB Board and Richard Parnaby’s fourth year in the role of Vice Chair.
Both Beatrice and Richard are supported by a committed Board whose membership has remained stable throughout the period of the government’s periodic review of the regulation of architects. Current Board Members will remain in post throughout 2015.
Speaking following her re-election, Beatrice Fraenkel said, ‘I am very pleased to be re-elected to the role of Chair of the ARB Board, I am fortunate to have the support of a dedicated team of Board Members as we continue to provide strategic leadership and good governance to the organisation over the coming twelve months. This stability and consistency has been, and continues to be, of paramount importance as we continue to deliver our regulatory role during the government’s periodic review process.
I am also delighted that Richard Parnaby has been re-elected as Vice Chair, his insights as a member of the profession are extremely helpful and I immensely value Richard’s support and wise counsel.’
Speaking following his re-election, Richard Parnaby said, ‘I am very pleased to be re-elected as Vice Chair and I look forward to supporting Beatrice Fraenkel and the Board as we continue to deliver our regulatory functions whilst continuing to contribute to the periodic review process.’
