RIBA Procedures for Recognition for Exemption from the RIBA Examinations in Architecture, Recognition of qualifications for the Commonwealth Association of Architects and the CIB Common Learning Outcomes for Degree Courses in Construction and the Built Environment

The RIBA Validation Co-ordinator will, on receipt of the Visiting Board Report, submit it for consideration to the next RIBA Education Committee, with a briefing note if appropriate. The decision of the Education Committee will be tabled at the next meeting of the RIBA Council meeting for Council to note.

Following the RIBA Council meeting, the RIBA Validation Co-ordinator will communicate to the school the decision of the RIBA Education Committee. The RIBA Validation Co-ordinator will also notify the Construction Industry Board qualifications in respect to the agreement on the Common Learning Outcomes for Degree Courses in Construction and the Built Environment, and the Commonwealth Association of Architects in respect of qualifications for the CAA list of recognised schools.
