Alex Wright

Alex Wright is Professor of Architecture and Head of Architecture at the University of Bath. Alex studied as an undergraduate at Bath before undertaking his Diploma in Architecture at Cambridge University and his Masters in Design at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design, where he studied as a Harkness Fellow. Alex was previously employed by ARB as an Independent Examiner, was Chair of SCHOSA from 2012-16 and has also served on the RIBA and ARB’s Joint Visiting Board Panel. Alex has acted as a visiting critic at several universities, and is currently an External Examiner at Nottingham University and MMU.  He is also an Expert Advisor to the Department for Communities (NI) on architecture and the built environment and a member of the South West Design Review Group.
