Carol Robertson is a Registered Architect and a Lecturer in Teaching and Scholarship who has been engaged in education and practice for 20 years. Following studies in Scotland, Denmark and the USA Carol worked as a project architect in London, responsible for a range of projects including affordable housing, urban regeneration, community arts and small scale residential. She now teaches full-time at the University of Dundee’s School of Architecture & Urban Planning, having joined part-time in 2006. Carol contributes to teaching, course development and assessment across all levels of the M.Arch courses in Dundee. Primary responsibilities currently include acting as Undergraduate Admissions Co-ordinator, Year 1 Co-ordinator, and Year 5 Masters Unit Leader, while also being involved in developing and delivering a joint degree programme abroad.
Carol holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching in Higher Education, and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Her Postgraduate studies investigated peer learning, reflective learning, and live projects in architectural education through research, analysis and assessment of current teaching practice.
