Farida studied architecture at Khartoum University in Sudan. She then completed her diploma in Architecture and Urban Design and an MSc in Development Practices at Oxford Brookes University.
Farida’s special interests are community lead projects, innovative ways of working [with children, artists, students, local residents and stakeholders] and sustainable architecture.
Farida is a partner at Redmak Architects and Urban Designers LLP. Farida has worked with Burrell Foley Fischer, Women’s Design Service, TANC [Technical Aid for Nottingham Communities] and the UNCHR in Geneva.
Farida has previously tutored in the schools of architecture at Oxford Brookes University, De Montfort University and Nottingham University.
