Stephen Brookhouse

Biography

Stephen Brookhouse is a registered architect.

He studied architecture at the University of Liverpool, Management Science at Imperial College, London and Construction Law at Kings College, London.

His professional career spans commercial architectural practice and postgraduate teaching. He is also a trained commercial mediator. Whilst in practice he taught at the Open University specialising in project-related, work-based learning. He then joined the University of Westminster where he led the postgraduate Part 3 course before working in senior leadership roles across a range of disciplines in the University.

He has served as a non-executive Board member of the arb. He has also served as a member of the Professional Conduct Committee and the Investigations Panel.

Throughout his career he has had a strong interest in professional education and professional development in the workplace. He is also an author and lectures widely in the UK and internationally on the profession.
