Biography

Suzanne held several senior public sector positions during her executive career, including Immigration Services Commissioner and Chief Executive of both the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority and the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. She also worked at both HM Treasury and the Home Office. At the latter she served as Private Secretary to two Home Secretaries. Before entering the public sector, Suzanne worked as a solicitor in private practice and was a Lecturer in Law at Manchester University.

Suzanne is currently Chairman of the Fire Standards Board, the Joint Audit Panel of the Mayor’s Office of Police and Crime and the Metropolitan Police Service, Depaul UK, a national charity focused on tackling homelessness, and Deputy Chairman of the Valuation Advisory Service. She is also a member of several boards including the Advertising Standards Authority and the Fundraising Regulator.
