Tony Clelford

ARB Examiner

Biography

Tony Clelford is an architect, writer and coach with many years of experience in academia and in architectural practice in both London and regional offices. He holds Masters degrees from the Bartlett and Middlesex University.

He has been a creativity consultant and tutor to various universities institutions including the Design Council and was involved in the development of the MA in Architectural Management at Nottingham University. He has been a member of several ARB and RIBA working groups and has served as Chair and Secretary of the Association for Professional Studies in Architecture (APSA).

Tony is currently serving as Head of Architecture Portfolio (Part 3) in the School of Design at the University of Greenwich, where he also runs the Postgraduate Diploma in Architectural Practice. He also acts as an examiner for ARB’s examination and has previously served as an independent adviser to ARB’s Prescription Committee. He is also a lecturer or examiner for several British universities.
