ARB Elections 2003 (15/01/2003)
The deadline for receipt of nominations, noon on 10 January 2003, has now passed, and as Returning Officer, I confirm that the nominations of the following named individuals are valid, and a poll will be held for election to the Architects Registration Board.

Electoral Reform Ballot Service (ERBS), the independent body which will oversee the election, will distribute ballot papers to all architects entitled to vote in the Elections by 1 February 2003. The closing date for receipt of completed ballot papers by ERBS is noon 1 March 2003. The results will be advised to me no later than 10 March 2003, following which I will issue an announcement naming those architects elected to serve from 1 April 2003 for three years.

• ARB was established by statute in 1997 to protect consumers and safeguard the reputation of architects.
• ARB comprises eight lay members who are appointed by the Privy Council, and seven architect members who are elected by the profession. The election is held every three years.
