ARB announces that the following are standing for election to the offices shown:

Sarah Lupton - Chair

Michael Starling - Chair

Colin Roy Brock – Vice-Chair

Elizabeth Jane Rees - Vice-Chair

As the offices of Chair and Vice-Chair are being contested, a ballot will be held on 22 February 2007.

Notes for Editors

ARB is the statutory body established by Parliament under the Architects Act 1997 to regulate the UK architects’ profession in the public interest.

ARB has a Board of 15 members, seven of whom are architects elected by the profession. The remaining eight are members of the public appointed by the Privy Council to represent the interests of consumers and users of architectural services.

The election of Chair and Vice Chair is conducted in accordance with the Board’s General Rule 6.

The Board’s General Rules are published on ARB’s website, and hard copies are available on request.
