Professional Indemnity Insurance (PII)
Professional indemnity insurance provides cover for claims of negligence against the policy holder. All architects in practice are expected to have their work covered by adequate and appropriate insurance cover, whether it is held by themselves or by their employer. Such insurance needs to be in place both in the interests of architects and that of their clients.
