Maintaining registration

As a registered architect, there are a number of things you need to do to maintain your registration.  For example, you need to pay an annual retention fee and make sure that you keep up to date with developments and practice in architecture.

It is also important that our records are up to date and accurate.  We need to hold your correct name and business address on our database because these are the contact details that appear in the Register (you can also show your email and website addresses if you wish, although this isn’t compulsory).  If your details change, you can either get in touch with us and ask us to change them, or you can update them yourself by visiting the secure Registrants’ Services section of the website.  You will need your registration number and password to enter.  If you have forgotten or misplaced your password, don’t worry – you can reset it online.  This facility is available 24/7, which means that you can make the changes at a time and place that is convenient to you.  Please let us know if you have any problems in entering this section of our website, by phone on 020 7580 5861 or by email at info@arb.org.uk.
