Voluntary removals
You can ask us to remove your name from the Register if you are no longer in business or practice. There may be a number of reasons for this. For example, you may have recently retired from practice, or you might be taking a career break.
All you need to do is write to us with your request and we will do the rest. We usually send a short questionnaire to ask you about why you want to leave the Register. This information helps us to understand and build a picture of the different reasons people have for wanting to resign.
You can read more about leaving – and returning to – the Register in our information leaflet.
