Biography
Qualified as a social worker and worked for local authorities and voluntary organisations as a practitioner, adviser and manager. Worked as an assistant director at Barnardo’s London and South East region for over twenty years. On retirement from full time work, he has undertaken fee paid roles as a member of the Disability Appeals panel of the Tribunal Service; member of the Mental Health Tribunal panel; member of the G.S.C.C. conduct committee (social workers regulatory body) and the N.M.C. Fitness to Practise panel member (nurses and midwives regulatory body). Michael Has also been an examinations Invigilator at local secondary schools.
